You’re new to Toronto or just visiting? What’s next and here’s how to get started….

Toronto like any other city is a big place with lots of different venues and can offer an awesome time or make you feel like never wanting to return. Trying to figure out where the hot spots are and how to get yourself in the know with the best bars and clubs is time consuming when your new to the place. And depending on your mood, you might prefer a somewhere that feels relaxed and comfortable as opposed to an electric crowd ready to party. You might think that going to any bar will suffice if you just want to have a beer and that’s true, however, there is sometimes more reason for going out other than just that. It could be to catch up with a friend, celebrate a birthday, dance, meet somebody, or just to escape.

If you want to get into a club and put you and your friends on guest list, a great place to start is www.clubcrawlers.com because it will have all the events for the weekend, when doors open, cover cost, and guest list. It also will provide some reviews on the location you are looking for and some pictures. If you are from Toronto this may sound like common sense but if your not from here and don’t have a connection to help you than hopefully this does.

For any ravers out there who are new to Toronto the TRC (Toronto Rave Community) on Facebook is a great place to start. For the active raver you probably have already found out about the page and are well on you’re way to checking out the next Toronto event.

Lastly, is how to narrow down the list on all the great bars in Toronto? A good place to start is www.blogto.com or www.Toronto.com because they offer comprehensive top ten lists and specified bar guides if you’re looking for a great craft beer selection, a new atmosphere, or a sweet patio for the summer.

This is our second blog and we wanted to just introduce ourselves and provide some useful advice on getting acquainted with the city. Our future blogs will be about great places to go depending on what mood you’re in and how to make the most of your night. Have a good weekend guys!
