Once down the alley way and up
the set of fire escape stairs, you will be at the entrance and coat check for
Cabin 5, a lounge/bar that looks and feels like a cottage. As a smaller place
it is great, equipped with couches, a fireplace, wooden décor, and a dance
floor it is a lot of fun. For bottle service, it’s perfect, because the booths
are huge and other people won’t bother you.
The night started off slowly, so
showing up for 11-11:30 would be best and you’ll have a good time. There is one
bar, but it’s big enough to handle the amount of guests. What a great place
though, it really does feel like a cottage and it’s a lot of fun if you go with
friends. Reasonably priced drinks and a good DJ you wont be disappointed. My
issue with the place is that I only just discovered it. What’s more perfect for
a regular spot during the winter than a lounge that’s comfortable, warm, and
high energy.
Another bonus is that the
bouncers were pleasant to talk to and they didn’t come across as rude. Who
would we recommend this place for? A big group of friends, or a small group who
are looking for a place to dance and socialize; it could be a good place if
you’re flying solo, however, you will want to wait until 11 at the earliest to
show up. We had a birthday celebration with about 20 people and the booth fit
us with no problem, it came with two big black couches and two armchairs, so
everyone was able to be comfy as we circled the table and finished the bottles.
We had a blast and will definitely be back!
